Board Meetings

Regular Meetings are generally held the first and third Tuesday of the month in the Board Room of the District Office, 589 W. Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale. Alternative meeting locations are indicated on meeting dates.

We appreciate your attendance and participation. In order to speak at a Board meeting, you must follow the procedures outlined below:

  1. Fill out a "Request to Speak Card" to address the Board:
  2. Fill in the requested information
  3. Submit card to staff member sitting to the Superintendent’s left
  4. Speakers are limited to three minutes each
  5. You will be called to speak by the Board President.
  6. Speakers are limited to three minutes each.
  7. Persons sharing common concerns should select a spokes person from their group to address the Board.
  8. Please notify the Board if a member of the audience is to record at the meeting.
  9. When there are large numbers of speakers, the Board may shorten the time.

The presiding officer may rule out of order persons who unduly interrupt or otherwise interfere with the orderly conduct of business, or who use defamatory, abusive, or profane language. Irrelevant or redundant presentations may also be ruled out of order.

Agendas are usually posted online the Friday before the scheduled meeting.  Minutes are posted after they are approved.
