2008 Summer School Pay Rate Information
Per the 2005-2008 CBA, The daily rate for summer school teaching shall be two-thirds per diem for four hours per day summer school teaching, at a minimum of $200 per four hour day, to a maximum daily rate of $225 per four hour day, as determined by the teacher's placement on the PRIOR year's salary schedule. In figuring the daily rate, no extra pay for extra duties shall be used. Teachers teaching more or less than four hours per day and/or more or less than thirty days at any time during the summer shall be compensated one fourth of the daily rate (a minimum of $50.00 per hour and a maximum of $55.25 per hour) for each hour served.
Pay Dates and Amounts:
(Summer School is paid via timesheets) There is NO pay for summer school reflected on the June pay warrants.)
June 23 - July 13th will be paid July 31, 2008
July 16th - August 1 will be paid August 31, 2008
