Substitute Information:

The Fremont Union High School uses Substitute Teachers and Classified Substitutes on an on call basis. If you would like to be a substitute for our District please contact Fran Ponce at (408) 522-2229 or email her at Fran Ponce.

We only process substitutes on Tuesday afternoons (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and Thursday mornings (8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).

Certificated Substitutes will need to have:

1. Social Security Card
2. Valid California Driver's License
3. Verification of CBEST
4. TB clearance current within 4 years
5. Valid California Credential or a 30 day Substitute Credential

The District also employs Clerical, Food Services, Custodial, and Instructional Classified Substitutes. Classified Substitutes need to have:

1. Social Security Card
2. Valid California Driver's License
3. TB clearance current within 4 years
4. May be required to have a physical

Certificated and Classified Substitutes will also need fingerprint clearance for employment in our District regardless of whether or not they have been printed elsewhere.
