BULLETINS

On Tuesday, November 13, the Fremont Union High School District and MUSCO (Light Pole Manufacturer) will be installing shrouds/visors on the lights at the football field.  This is a result of light level readings that were taken a few weeks ago.  Based on the analysis, MUSCO has reengineered their design with longer shrouds/visors which will minimize the effects of the lights. After the installation, the lights will be turned on for a period of time to allow us to take new light readings.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation during the track and fields construction process.  If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Serrano at 408-522-2203.

On Wednesday, October 10 starting at 6:30 pm, the Fremont Union High School District and Monta Vista High School will be performing a light meter test.  This test will determine the light levels created by the new field lighting along the school/community property lines and verify that the lights are properly aimed to minimize the impact on neighbors’ yards while adequately lighting the field.  FUHSD, school personnel, and MUSCO (light pole manufacturer) will turn on the sports field lights and walk the entire Main Field property line while taking light level readings.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation during the track and fields construction process.  If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Serrano at 408-522-2203.
