We are profoundly grateful to our community who voted to pass Fremont Union High School District’s Measure J (the renewal of our existing annual $98 parcel tax) and Measure K (a new bond measure to build classrooms, add new facilities, and renovate aging facilities). The passage of these two measures means that we will be able to rely on a steady income stream to keep salaries and programs strong. We can also now proceed with plans to add needed classrooms and facilities and also upgrade aging facilities in anticipation of the 1,800 additional high school students that will join us by 2020.
Thanks to our generous community, students at Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook, and Monta Vista High Schools for generations to come will benefit from first class facilities and staff. Our students are jumping for joy!
