Located in the heart of "Silicon Valley" and the "San Francisco Bay Area" in the State of California, the Fremont Union High School District currently serves over 9,900 students in a 42 square mile area covering all of the City of Cupertino, most of Sunnyvale and portions of San Jose, Los Altos, Saratoga, and Santa Clara in Santa Clara County. Thirty-five percent of our students live in Cupertino, 36% in Sunnyvale, 19% in San Jose, 3% in Los Altos, 4% in Saratoga, and 3% in Santa Clara. People move to our community because of the outstanding elementary and high school districts.

Our five high schools — Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook, and Monta Vista — continue to hold top ranking throughout the region, state, and nation. We celebrate the achievement and accomplishments of all of our students and staff. After graduation from the District, approximately 90% of students enter college with over 55% going directly to four-year universities. The District values the visual and performing arts, the acquisition of a second modern language, and workplace learning as essential elements of a well-developed mind and life-long learner.
